Counts use distinct published project IDs. They are not a count of homes, consent events, all council consents, total market size or construction starts. Differences between months can reflect publication selection and category grouping; they are not a growth measure.

The separate August industrial grouping has its own published coverage.

Coverage, source dates and category limitations

Evidence comes from retained Auckland Council monthly building-consent spreadsheets for the reporting months shown. Only the OVERIQO records currently published in this grouping are counted. Other periods, unpublished records and other Auckland categories are outside this count; absence here does not establish absence of activity.

Issue dates describe the dates recorded on published consent records, not site commencement, completion or procurement. A project can have staged or amended consents. Known source discrepancies remain held for separate review; this page does not correct them.

These are existing OVERIQO browse groupings, including reviewed assignments. They are not a complete or uniform council taxonomy. Read the individual description and its source reference; a category label alone does not prove the work type, buyer or full project scope.

This is a reviewed snapshot, not a live council feed. No automatic refresh frequency is promised. Later source changes and amendments may not be reflected. Use the consent reference to ask the council to locate the source record; availability of a record-specific public download has not been verified. The council website is a general lookup starting point, not a verified record link.

Examples to help interpret the records

Selected examples illustrate scope differences; they are not a representative market sample, ranking or list of available work. Extracts below retain the published source wording; open the record for context and exclusions.

Turn the record into a research question

Start with the source scope, then confirm current status and the appropriate authorized contact before outreach. These questions use OVERIQO audience definitions; they do not assign a persona, score a record or establish demand.

Current construction, procurement, appointed parties, contacts and remaining budget are not established by these records. Do not treat an applicant, agent or source contact as the owner without independent evidence.
